Dear friends and followers,
After too many hours of frustration and lack of sleep over our blog, I have decided to stop trying to post text and pictures here.  If you are a Facebook friend, you have already seen many of the pictures that our walking partner, Ginny, has posted.  If this posting works today the. Maybe I’ll go back and try to edit and add a narrative.

A full service hiking trail . We left from the Santa Luzia Church albergue this morning in Via a Do Castelo and journeyed I land a bit parallel to the coast. The stairs down from the church counted 622 and our path was VERY ROCKY with streets and lanes and paths of cobble stones and miscellaneous rocks up to cantaloupe size. By the end of today’s 19km we were wishing we’d been walking on sandy beaches. Our walk also took us through an active fire area that must have spanned 100 acres or so and was actively smoking. We passed by an amazing flower garden today which was just out the in the middle of so to speak. For tonight we are in a wonderful bed and breakfast in vila Praia de Ancora. After arriving we did the pilgrim thing , shower an get clean clothes then do laundry then go to get something to eat. Tonight is wood fired cooking and wines. I’ll try to add a picture for that too. Sorry still can’t figure out text tied to pictures but at least it’s something.
